Our story
Family made.
Brookdale raised.
From New York to Market Street
A family recipe found a new home.
In 1998, Joe Marino’s father brought the pizza he grew up with in New York to Brookdale: thin, foldable slices with a crisp edge, bright tomato sauce, and just the right amount of cheese.
More than 25 years later, Joe’s Pizza is still family-owned. We still make our dough and sauce in-house, still greet regulars by name, and still believe the best meal is one shared around a table.

Mixed in-house and rested overnight for flavor, structure, and that unmistakable New York chew.
Our sauce
A simple family recipe built around ripe tomatoes, herbs, and enough patience to let the ingredients speak.
Our neighborhood
Brookdale has supported us since day one. We’re proud to be the place families return to week after week.
